May 1, 2026 – April 17, 2027

Bridge City Beats celebrates Saskatoon’s cultural diversity through musical instruments. The exhibit displays a number of musical instruments from David Kaplan’s collection. The collection includes instruments from all around the world, such as North and South America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Oceania.

Stroll through the gallery and learn about the cultural significance of instruments from around the world, take part in musical workshops focusing on different cultures, and attend free concerts involving the Amati String Instrument Collection. Become immersed in the history and sounds of the Kaplan and Amati collections through vivid visuals and interactive experiences highlighting the importance of music in establishing community and identity.
